Our Make Over and Renovations Completed

A busy and exciting Christmas holidays has happened at Kenmore Park Kindergarten.  We were lucky enough to receive a grant enabling us to renovate or “make over” our centre.  A new bathroom, flooring and a fresh coat of paint have lifted the kindergarten to new heights!

The committee and staff worked together tirelessly over the Christmas period to co-ordinate with the workmen and the removalists to keep the renovations on track and put the kindy back together for the start of term 1.

The lighter colour scheme and new furniture in the kindergarten rooms, teachers’ office and parent room have really made such a marked improvement.

The teachers are excited to use their rooms and resources with the children over the following weeks ahead.  Staff is also excited to view plans for landscaping “make overs” in both playgrounds.  The 2013 committee will be applying for more grants to make these landscaping plans reality!

The new parent room offers the opportunities for current parents as well as new families to stop and have a cuppa, read parenting books, and chat with our lovely admin officer Cathy about enrolments and future plans for the kindergarten.
