Henny Penny Hatchings

They will be delivering their chicken eggs and incubator for the children to delight in watching the first movements of a chick hatching from its egg. Children are naturally curious, and from the first moment the bedraggled chick stumbles from it’s shell it will have a captive audience! The antics of the new little chick will be watched and commented on throughout the remainder of the program, with these observations becoming a major part of discussion in the classroom. This is a beautiful opportunity for children to learn to nurture and care for living creatures whilst observing their life cycle.
