What’s that buzzing about our Kindy?

Have you popped in to visit our latest addition to the Kindy?

We are so grateful to the Annette family for the kind donation of a native, stingless bee hive, complete with 5000 bees! The bees are so tame the children can hold them gently and take them to the lavender plants. In these cooler months, they stay snuggled and warm in their hive until morning tea time, where they tentatively peek out from their home before getting to work collecting pollen from our flowers. Our Kindy children relish the opportunity to observe and interact with animals from our natural environment. Research shows that children who interact with nature and have access to natural environments are better learners. That means Kenmore Park Kindy kids will be the problem solvers of the future!!
